BLUESEAL WATERLESS URINAL SEALANT - 1 litre

BlueSeal is an inexpensive but effective sealant for waterless urinal bowls and troughs which uses barrier fluids to prevent odours. We recommend it is used according to the instructions given by the urinal bowl manufacturer, in the same way as the manufacturer specified sealant.

The GW6 cartridge fits Aridian waterless urinal bowls and others that take 118mm diameter cartridges. It is tolerant of the standard cleaning chemicals and practices that may have a detrimental impact on the performance of other types of waterless urinal system. This product now includes the latest version of the GW6 valve core launched in December 2016, with the special pressure release system for greater drain pressure tolerance and increased flow rate.

This unit is tolerant of most standard cleaning chemicals and water but avoid using bleach and cleaning products with more than 10% acid content. Harsh cleaning products may reduce the life of the silicone valves within this cartridge.

Note: At the request of some trade customers, this cartridge is also available with no printing on the surface. "GW6" is a registered trademark of Gentworks Ltd.

Ideal for sites where:
• odours are perceived to be a problem because of sealant degraded by the use of incompatible cleaning chemicals
• the cost of consumables and servicing is considered to be unacceptable
• blockages occur regularly in waste pipes

Recommended to be used in conjunction with Bactericidal Cleaner; sluicing once every 2 to 4 weeks to help keep waste pipes free from blockages.

The Arica is a stylish waterless urinal Ideal for busy commercial environments such as  offices, restaurants, hotels, clubs, schools, and sports stadiums. 
This urinal uses the popular Falcon Waterfree Technologies waterless cartridge, a system cleaners and facilities management companies may already be familiar with. 
Maintenance is straightforward using  spray on waterless urinal safe cleaners and a simple cartridge change every 3-4 months or 4000-7000 uses.
The urinal is manufactured by a leading ceramics company and carries a 10 year guarantee on the quality of the ceramic. 

How it works

Urine, which is 96% water, flows down the surface of the urinal and into the unique Falcon cartridge. The cartridge is filled with a special liquid called Allseal, which is not only perfumed, but prevents foul air from rising up from the drain and into the washroom. It does this by floating on the surface inside the cartridge and trapping any particles at the cartridge base. Note that the effectiveness of the Allseal sealant can be impaired by sluicing or by incompatible cleaning chemicals, if proper care is not take,  However, there are no mechanical components to go wrong. Regular cleaning consists of spraying on cleaner and wiping it off. Replacing cartridges, a simple job,  has to be carried out every three to four months under average use conditions, but can last from 2 to 12 months, dependent on usage.

The Velocity is the latest design of replacement cartridge from Falcon Waterfree for Armitage Shanks Aridian and Falcon waterless urinal bowls. The previous S6282 "Legacy" Falcon cartridge is no longer manufactured and therefore will only be available while stocks last. The Velocity cartridge lasts longer than the previous model due to faster flow through the internal trap and less splashing within the trap cavity, resulting in slower build-up. It is also easier to identify when the cartridge needs replacing because the blue sealant fluid will cover an "indicator" when the cartridge is full.
