With the filling of water-bottles now being a major use of drinking fountains, many buyers choose to have a swan-neck bottle/cup filler fitted. However, the swan-neck is also one of our most popular spares because they can be easily damaged by a determined vandal. It is very hard indeed to damage a bubbler tap but a swan-neck can be gripped with both hands and pulled hard. If you are concerned about the possibility of such mistreatment of a drinking fountain, avoid the swan-neck option. For a more reliable bottle filling option, consider a floor standing drinking fountain with a recessed bottle filling station such as the GW-951 (adult height) or GW-952 (junior height). They are more expensive than a standard wall-hung drinking fountain fitted with a swan-neck but are a more convenient and robust solution.

For safety purposes, the unit features a smooth rounded shape, avoiding sharp corners which could cause injury to the user. For ease of use, the dispenser is situated to one side, on a raised landing area. The integrated splashback provides for ease of cleaning. Drinking Fountain - Floor Standing Pedestal

This floor standing drinking fountain features an undershroud with lockable door to conceal pipework. The fountain is fixed to the floor at the base making it more resistant to vandalism. As standard, the back and base of the fountain is open to allow water waste pipe connections to enter from below or a wall behind. A closed back option is available so the unit can be installed as a free standing pedestal with connections made from below.
The drinking fountain is supplied with your selected dispenser type and a (1¼ in) BSP unslotted grated waste fitting. The unit is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel of 1.2mm thickness. This stainless steel drinking fountain is suitable for outside installation but will need to be isolated and drained down during periods of freezing weather to prevent damage to the valve and pipework.

Campus Drinking Fountain with Bottle Filling Station

This dual-purpose floor standing unit is made from 1.5mm thick Grade 304 stainless steel and provides drinking water from both a traditional bubbler valve and via a convenient recessed bottle filling station suitable for use with 0.5, 0.75 and 1.0 litre bottles. The unit is hygienic, robust and suitable for both indoor and, when proper precautions* are observed, outdoor use. The shielded self-closing bubbler valve is positioned for ease of use and the bottle filler is activated by a simple push button mounted on top of the unit. The whole unit features a smooth radiused design eliminating sharp corners. The drinking fountain and bottle filling station has an integral full height shroud to conceal the water supply and waste pipework. The unit is supplied pre-plumbed with a single flexible water inlet hose and is fitted with dual water traps and waste pipes terminating in one connection. Two models are available to suit both adult and junior height applications.
