The 'Discreet' version of the Cistermiser Direct Flush incorporates valve, power options and sensor for duct mounting. An 'accessible' version is also available. Gentworks recommends that this unit is only installed by experienced plumbers or similar contactors because dynamic water pressure needs to be at a satisfactory level to enable them to perform to specification. 

The Cistermiser Direct Flush Infrared Sensor Controlled Urinal Valve is a simple economic solution to ensure urinal hygiene and water economy. It provides automatic flushing of the

 individual urinal after use ensuring the highest level of hygiene from the minimum volume of water directly from the mains water supply. Direct Flush removes the need for the auto-flush cistern and associated plumbing used in traditional urinal installations which flush all urinals regardless of usage.

Not suitable for exposed pipework installations

It provides intelligent automatic flushing of the individual urinal after use ensuring the highest level of hygiene from the minimum volume of water directly from the mains supply. Direct Flush removes the need for the auto-flush cistern and associated plumbing used in traditional urinal installations which flush all urinals regardless of usage.

The DVS Pearl Solo is a suspended ceiling urinal control for a single urinal bowl without a cistern. This mains powered unit is the size of a mini-downlighter, with a narrow beam, and will only be activated if a user stands under the beam for 5 seconds or more.  When the user walks away there is a 3 second delay before the controller flushes for the set number of seconds. 

Designed for concealed installations where the flush pipe and spreader water connection is located behind panels or a stud wall.

Each urinal will require its own Pearl Solo unit.

Air Break (back-flow preventer): Required to comply with water regulations to prevent contamination of mains water supply.

Isolators and Filters: These are standard plumbing fittings but can be added as an option for convenience. It is recommended that an isolation valve is fitted either side of the solenoid valve. If the water flow through the solenoid valve is too fast, spillage from the air break may result. To remedy this, the isolation valve after the solenoid valve should be adjusted to reduce the flow. Restricting the flow using the isolation valve before the solenoid valve may cause the soelnoid valve to operate incorrectly. It is also recommended that a Y-filter is fitted before the solenoid valve to prevent debris from constricting the flow through the solenoid valve or urinal spreader.

This individual operation urinal control system is designed to flush a single urinal directly from the mains water supply. No cistern is required. The urinal is flushed when the user walks away. The units are extremely versatile in their operation and we have found them to be very reliable indeed. The design and manufacturing quality are excellent.
