AquaShield is an alternative to the Aquafree UMD. AquaShield offers the same fitment while featuring an elevated concentration of biological material in the cartridge top, rather than the stem.

The Twyford Spectrum urinal bowl can be challenging to maintain as, rather than a regular 38mm drain at the bottom of the bowl, it has a smaller 32mm drain at the rear which is particularly prone to blockages. The Aquafree Spectrum Urinal Maintenance Device is designed to fit snuggly into this drain hole, helping to prevent debris entering the waste pipes whilst dispensing the active ingredients to combat blockages and odours.

 Usage:

The Spectrum cartridge is simply inserted into the 32mm drain hole of the Twyford Spectrum urinal bowl.  The contents of the cartridge are designed to break down  urine and reduce the potential for odours and blockages. However, they are not able to break down hair and other debris likely to enter the waste pipes. So, it is essential to "dose" the urinal weekly -  a very simple task.  For each urinal, mix 100ml of Gentworks Bactericidal Cleaner with  900ml warm water from the washroom hot tap. Pour the resulting 1 litre of diluted solution over and around the head of the cartridge. There is no need to remove the cartridge before doing so.

 Cleaning:

Most urinal odour problems, waterless or not, result from poor cleaning practices.  The urinal should be cleaned regularly with Gentworks Bactericidal Cleaner (same dilution as for dosing), Gentworks Bio-Blue or another neutral cleaning product. Cleaning products containing acids, strong alkalis and bleaches must not be used as these will kill the active ingredients contained in the Aquafree Urinal Maintenance Device and may well lead to odours and blockages. 

This is the replacement valve core cartridge for the Tanami waterless urinals and other bowls fitted with the GW6-15 or GW15 systems. It includes the same "snorkel valve" technology as its larger cousin, the GW6, giving more than 9 litres per minute drainage. The latest GW6-15 also has much greater resistance to bleach due to the two valves in the housing being manufactured with a special silicone formula.

The GW6-15 has been designed to allow odour-free operation in waterless urinals as well as those urinals being flushed only every few hours or days. 

The unit has good tolerance of most standard cleaning chemicals with a pH of 4 to 10. Harsher cleaning products may reduce the life of the silicone valves within this cartridge.

Recommended to be used in conjunction with Bactericidal Cleaner; sluicing once every 2  to 4 weeks, to extend valve life and keep waste pipes clear. If Bactericidal Cleaner is not available, use soap and warm water instead.

This is the replacement valve core for urinals fitted with the GW6 waterless urinal system, including the retrofit housing for Aridian as well as the Karoo, Sahara, Accona, Tabernas, and other urinal models.

The unit is tolerant of most standard cleaning chemicals and water but avoid using bleach and cleaning products with more than 10% acid content.  Harsh cleaning products may reduce the life of the silicone valves within this cartridge.

The GW6 cartridge fits Aridian waterless urinal bowls and others that take 118mm diameter cartridges. It is tolerant of the standard cleaning chemicals and practices that may have a detrimental impact on the performance of other types of waterless urinal system. This product now includes the latest version of the GW6 valve core, with the special pressure release system for greater drain pressure tolerance and increased flow rate.

The cartridge consists of a valve and a fragrance ring, the valve has a non-return feature allowing liquids to pass through before closing.
As well as creating a pleasant fragrance, the green ring acts as a life cycle indicator. During its life the green ring fades until it is transparent, at this stage the cartridge should be checked to see if it needs replacing.
The service key is available as an option if required.

The Velocity is the latest design of replacement cartridge from Falcon Waterfree for Armitage Shanks Aridian and Falcon waterless urinal bowls. The previous S6282 "Legacy" Falcon cartridge is no longer manufactured and therefore will only be available while stocks last. The Velocity cartridge lasts longer than the previous model due to faster flow through the internal trap and less splashing within the trap cavity, resulting in slower build-up. It is also easier to identify when the cartridge needs replacing because the blue sealant fluid will cover an "indicator" when the cartridge is full.
