Flow Regulator Insert for 15mm

Occasionally, the water flow through a urinal top spreader can be too rapid, causing spillage during flushing. This often occurs when the auto cistern is mounted higher on the wall than ideal, increasing the head height and resulting in a too powerful flush. To avoid the need to lower the cistern, consider using a flow regulator inserted into the top spreader to reduce or eliminate this issue.

Ensure that the water flow direction is into the small black internal "O" ring.

Replacement 22mm to 1" BSP Urinal Down Pipe to Auto Cistern Connector Nut & Seal

This replacement plastic coupling nut and seal is designed to connect 22mm urinal trough downpipes to a standard 1" BSP auto siphon tail, commonly found in automatic urinal cisterns. Over time, the nut may crack due to over-tightening, or the inner seal may perish, leading to leaks. For a more durable option, we also offer a sturdier metal version – see related products below.

22mm to 1" BSP Urinal Down Pipe to Auto Cistern Connector

Ideal for replacing cracked plastic versions.
Suitable for standard 22mm downpipes and Auto Cisterns fitted with 1” BSP Auto Siphons.
Please note that the existing down pipe will not pass through the fitting up into the Auto Siphon, the down pipe may have to be cut to suit or the cistern height altered.

These urinal spreaders feature a stud and back nut bolted from behind ensuring they stay firmly attached to the urinal. A compression fitting to the inlet pipe provides a sturdy water connection.
The straight through design of these urinal spreaders means water is angled to hit the back of the urinal, this gives an improved flush and reduces the likelihood of limescale building up and causing a restriction in the nozzle over time.

These urinal spreaders are held from behind by a ½” BSP back nut ensuring they stay firmly attached to the urinal. A 15mm compression fitting to the inlet pipe provides a sturdy water connection.
These spreaders are suitable for the majority of back entry water fed urinals with a standard 22mm diameter spreader hole in the ceramic.

Not suitable for Twyford branded urinals that have a smaller 13mm spreader hole.

Filter and isolation kit designed to protect the performance of solenoid valves. Recommend for use with urinal flush controls with solenoid valve.

The Y strainer has a perforated metal mesh filter that will reduce the risk of waterborne dirt and debris from entering the solenoid valve.

Please note: New pipework will still require purging prior to installation of the the filter.

The Twyford Spectrum urinal plastic waste inserts are no longer available separately, they can only be obtained when purchased with the complete Twyford Spectrum urinal installation pack.
As an alternative we can offer a plastic Aquafree Spectrum cartridge, this product contains a biological block but this will dissolve over time and you will then just have the plastic inset that should stop debris entering the waste like the original product. (see Related Products)
